Drum Scanning
For gallery standard output a high quality scan is a crucial element in the creation of a fine art Giclee print. We promote the practice of "scan once, output many" by getting the highest quality scan you can and then use it for any number of purposes. We scan every type of film (C41, E6 or B&W) and format (35mm, medium & large). Email for a quote or download our service guide.

Accurate Colour Matching
The Heidelberg Tango drum scanner used by Image Centre UK is the finest scanner in the world and is recommended by leading international museums and galleries as the start of the digital process.
For 35mm film, we recommend a 5000dpi scan, resulting in a 100mb digital file. For larger formats, we recommend up to a 300mb scan, with the resolution varying depending on the size of the film.
These scan sizes offer the ultimate combination of quality and cost effectiveness to allow you to print at any size.

The advantage of our service is simple: cost effective, high quality archival standard prints on-demand. Consistency from print to print is guaranteed.
Retouching
Where film supplied is of a poor quality, retouching may be necessary for best results. Custom fees apply.
