How to supply files digital files

(Full technical support available in service guide)

The most important element of Giclee printing is the digital file. Minimum requirements is JPEG supplied at 150 dpi at 100% print resolution.

File Format

Photoshop TIF is our preferred file format. We also accept JPEGs with minimal compression, high resolution PDFs and flattened Photoshop PSDs.

Colours

Our output device is RGB. All images scanned in colour as Photoshop, TIFF & JPEGs must be in RBG format. Where possible assigned colour profile should be sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998).

Resolution

Colour and greyscale images should be at least 150dpi, and preferbly 300 dpi. Supplying images at a lower resolution can lead to a loss in quality.

Size & Borders

All images are printed to maximum paper size requested unless otherwise stated and include a 10mm border around the image for framing purposes. Canvas prints include approx 2" (50mm) border to allow for stretching.

File Naming

In order to track order, our file naming convention is "Your first name, second name, image name".
